Little Angels

When god calls little children
to dwell with him above
We mortals sometimes question
the wisdom of his love.

For no heartache compares with
the death of one small shild,
Who does so much to make our world
seem so wonderful and mild.

Perhaps God tires of calling just the aged to his fold
So, he picks a young rosebud
before it too grows old.

God knows how much we need them
And so, he takes only a few
To make the land of heaven
more beautiful to view.

Believing this is difficult
still somehow, we must try. Because
the saddest word mankind knows
Will always be "good-bye".

So when a little child departs
We, who are left behind
Must realize that God loves children
Because angels are so hard to find.

Canadian Angel

To Our Canadian Angel
A little life so full of love
Cherished and special – now on the wings of a dove
James will remain always our darling boy
And forever will be our pride and joy
Time and dates may come and go
Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winters Snow
But James your light will always shine
Forever inscribed in our hearts and minds

There's a big tear rolling down my cheek
A tear just like a stain
This tear knows what sorrow is
This tear has felt pain

This tear has had some good times
And it's had some bad as well
For this tear has seen heaven
And this tear has seen hell

This tear is really special
And it's so important too
But why it is so special,
Is...
Because it falls for you.
